PONCE BANK AND PDL COMMUNITY BANCORP
Steven A. Tsavaris has been serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Ponce De Leon
Federal Bank since 1990. Tsavaris joined the Bank as an Executive Vice President in 1995,
became President in 1999, and was made Chief Executive Offi cer in 2011.
In 2013, Tsavaris became Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Offi cer and currently
serves as Executive Chairman of Ponce Bank. Tsavaris has also been serving as Chairman of
the Board and Chief Executive Offi cer of Ponce Bank Mutual Holding Company and Executive
Chairman of PDL Community Bancorp. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors
of the Ponce De Leon Foundation formed in 2017.
His prior banking experience includes service with the National Bank of North America and
the Bank Services Division of Litton Industries.
Tsavaris is a U. S. Army veteran and a graduate of City College. Tsavaris has been an experienced
real estate investor and an active member of various community and philanthropic
organizations, including the Southern Boulevard Chamber of Commerce, New York City Area
Policy Board (Chairman), SOBO Business Improvement District (Treasurer) and the Neighborhood
S. H.O.P. P. Program. He served as a trustee of the Westchester Medical Center, a then
affi liate of Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital and was chairman of its audit committee.
