BRONX TAXMAN CORP.
John Cerini has been serving as an accountant and CEO for Bronx TaxMan Corp. He was
born and raised in the Throggs Neck community of the Bronx by Italian immigrant parents,
Natale and Chiara Cerini. His father began their family tax business while starting a family
and attending college. As the son of an accountant, Cerini was fascinated by the respect the
Italian community had for his father and decided to follow in his footsteps and become an
accountant. In high school, Cerini met his wife Grace and were married after he graduated
college.
While attending college in 1990, Cerini joined his father’s business. In 1996, the family expanded
their business to include Real Estate, Insurance and Notary Services. In 1999, Cerini
and his Dad decided to open a second location for the family business. Cerini also became
an Enrolled Agent of the Internal Revenue Service, who has been granted unrestricted rights
to represent his clients before the Internal Revenue Service. Since the creation of the family
business in 1974��as Cerini Income Tax, to the new Bronx TaxMan Corp. Cerini has been proud
to work side by side with his wife, Grace and his sister, Catherine, to continue their father’s
legacy, who passed away in 2012.
Cerini and his wife Grace, who have been married for 25��years, have four amazing children,
Nicholas, Matthew, Jonathon, and Rebecca. Receiving this award today is truly an honor that
Cerini will never forget, as one of the “Kings of The Bronx” especially in its inaugural year,
2020.
