John J. Ciafone, Esq. has been serving as a Trial Attorney practicing in New York, New
Jersey and Washington DC for over 25��years and several years ago, Ciafone obtained his
EMT Certifi cation in New York State and was later studied and trained in Paramedic care.
During the COVID-19��Pandemic, Ciafone volunteered as a First Responder and did tours in
Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens. Most notably, attending NYC Health and Hospital Corporation’s
Elmhurst Hospital, known as COVID-19, Ground Zero. Ciafone was recognized for his
heroism in the National Preferred Health Magazine Pandemic Edition which featured Ciafone
among numerous Physicians, Nurses and other Health Care Practitioners, who were in the
front lines during the Pandemic.
The magazine also featured an interview with the most popular Director of the National Institute
of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci. Ciafone’s practice focuses on
Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice. He has advocated for seniors and the disabled in
nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals.
Ciafone hosted webinars and was an outstanding critic for the thousands of deaths that
occurred in the nursing homes in New York State as a result of the State’s decision to place
infected COVID-19��patients in nursing homes.
As a trained EMT/EMS, Ciafone has known of the dangers of nursing homes as harbors of
viruses and infections that spread like wildfi re. He also advocated for families to be in touch
with their COVID-19��infl icted loved ones in nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and hospitals.
Ciafone volunteered after the devastation of September 11, 2001, as a citizen, and renewed
his calling this time during the ravages of COVID-19.
