JACKSON HOUSES RESIDENT ASSOCIATION, INC.
Daniel Barber is the President of Jackson Houses Resident Association, Inc in November
2002. Before that he had worked for the Salvation Army for over 15��years, going from an
Assistant to the Commanding Offi cer to a Mobile Feeding Supervisor before becoming Vice
President of his current company.
Barber founded Save Our Youth Inc.; Citywide Council of Presidents Youth Chairman, dealing
with youth living in NYCHA’s developments for the entire city; he was the Vice Chair of the
South Bronx Council of Presidents, which has overseen 34��housing developments and some
65,000��residents; and was on the Member Hiring panel for Save Our Streets South Bronx.
Barber was involved in many other agencies and organizations that give technical and moral
support to the community he has been a part of for 45��years.
All of Barber’s endeavors, which he tackled and completed, were done on a voluntary basis.
He has kept the same admiration, dedication, love and commitment that he entered into his
role as the Jackson Houses Resident Association President 14��years ago.
