Rebecca O’Connell has been leading the Long Island and Queens region for JP Morgan
Chase’s middle market banking and specialized industries. O’Connell has has over 20 years
of financial experience, lead global corporate finance and treasury functions, worked capital
advisory services and commercial banking teams.
Based in Melville, O’Connell has been responsible for leading a team of commercial bankers
to serve mid-sized companies in the region. Areas of focus for O’Connell and her team
include providing companies with holistic solutions across credit and financing, treasury
solutions, risk management, merchant services, international banking and system integration,
and providing access to JP Morgan Chase’s extended resources including retirement plan
administration and private wealth management.
O’Connell received an MBA in international business from Long Island University – CW Post,
where she studied abroad for three semesters, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in
Economics & Computer Applications from the State University of New York at Cortland. She
has served on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Association, LISTnet and The United
Way of Long Island.
