Robin L. Long is one of the newest Long Island Regional Board Members for the AJC. Robin
has participated in many educational, philanthropical and legal advocacy missions in support
of the State of Israel. Additionally, she served with Volunteers for Israel during one of the
Gaza wars. Her commitment to Jewish heritage was heightened by her attendance at the
March of the Living for its 30th anniversary.
Robin’s commitment to public service is intertwined with her legal practice. She maintains
her law firm in the Village of Southampton with a specialization in transactional Real Estate.
Robin is currently a member of the Town of Southampton Planning Board and has also held
the chair of the Suffolk County Board of Ethics from 2012-2015.
Besides her government position, Robin is a Vice Chair of the NYS Democratic Committee
and First Vice Chair of the Suffolk County Democratic Committee. Robin has a love of the
arts and currently sits as Chair of the Parrish Art Museum Business Counsel.
Robin resides in Hampton Bays with her two rescue dogs Harley and Charley. She is blessed
with two children, Geoffrey and Marisa and two grandsons, Hobson and Magnus.
