Donna Fafinski has been serving as a Partner at Macaluso & Fafinski P.C. and has represented
the people of the Bronx for over twenty years.
Fafinski grew up in Queens and went to a SUNY college. After graduating, she attended
Brooklyn Law School and enjoyed learning how the Courts seek to find solutions to society’s
most difficult issues: ensuring equity to all people in a world of conflicting needs, rights and
opinions.
After graduation, she got a job with a prestigious Park Avenue law firm and had an office
with a great view. The only problem was that all she did was represent one large corporation
against another. Fafinski wanted to help people, not corporate balance sheets. After leaving
that job, she joined forces with her husband and opened a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in
the Bronx.
Fafinski has gotten to help people whose lives are upended through no fault of their own.
At the end of her time with her clients there is a resolution, in the form of getting them the
resources they need to help them move forward with their lives. She enjoys working in the
Bronx as it is a place where real New Yorkers live.
