Kim Kranz, RN, MS, CHPCA has been serving as President of Good Shepherd Hospice and
Catholic Home Care. She has overseen the delivery of care to over 35,000��patients annually
with diverse clinical needs across Long Island.
Drawing upon 30��years of experience, Kranz has maintained a laser focused commitment
towards programmatic growth combined with superior clinical and fi nancial results. Kranz is
certifi ed as a Hospice and Palliative Care Administrator. Her passion has translated into advocacy
through her service as vice chairperson for the Legislative and Government Affairs Committee
for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
She has embraced the shifting paradigm of health care in the home by fully realizing the role
of the nursing profession in improving health outcomes for individuals. Through the mentorship
of less experienced staff, and advocating for patients’ often unique needs, Kranz has
believed there are infi nite opportunities for nurses and the patients placed under their care.
