VARTANOV
CFO
MERCHANT INDUSTRY, LLC
A St. John’s University graduate, Jennifer Vartanov has been serving as CFO for Merchant
Industry, LLC. She also is a co-Founder of the Concerned Jericho Parents, one of the region’s
most diverse and active civic associations that advocate on behalf of Jericho schoolchildren
and the greater Jericho, Long Island area. Vartanov has also been a successful business
owner, community advocate, philanthropist, and mother, who has dedicated much of her life
to the strength of the business community and the wellbeing of her local community.
Vartanov’s hard work from the first day has contributed to the growth the company has
experienced over the past 10+ years. Her expertise in her field at such a young age is
unprecedented and her incredible work ethic as well as her tireless energy is the engine to
keeping this company on a firm but expanding financial footing.
Throughout her professional career, she has overseen the founding and growth of businesses
in the telecommunications and payment processing industry, which have achieved
commendable success and served thousands of individuals and businesses. In 2020,
Vartanov’s company, Merchant Industry “Swipe 4 Free” saved NY-area businesses over
$100-million in costs, during a year ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic, an accomplishment
in which she is especially proud.
As the company expanded from a small office with two people to multiple offices and
hundreds of people, she has kept her finger on the pulse of not only the company’s needs but
the industry as well. This has allowed Merchant Industry to stay nimble, responsive, and at the
forefront of an ever evolving and fluid market.
