Amanda Carnesi has been serving as the President and founder of one of the leading
healthcare marketing firms on Long Island, Prescription PR Inc. After receiving her BFA in
Public Relations and a master’s degree in Counseling from LIU Post, Carnesi rose among the
business world’s ranks.
Following graduation, Carnesi found employment assisting with the marketing efforts of
several local private healthcare practices. She played a direct role in boosting these practices’
success by managing and implementing marketing campaigns and building referral networks
with other physicians.
However, while serving as a physician liaison and building these referral networks, Carnesi
quickly recognized the improvements that could be made within the field of private practice
healthcare marketing. These were the seeds in which Prescription PR Inc. would sprout from.
Much like the need for providing medical attention never rests, neither did Carnesi’s drive and
desire to help Prescription PR Inc. grow and thrive. Since its foundation in 2011, Prescription
PR Inc. has transformed from a small firm with a few local clients to one that has clients
across the country, serving practices focusing on nearly every type of medical specialty.
By recognizing a need within the medical community and creating a business model that
meets it, Carnesi and her team have helped hundreds of private medical practices thrive in
this ever changing healthcare climate. With a never-ending passion for delivering on client
