Mitch Rose has been serving as the President and Chief Executive Offi cer and Trustee of The
Woodlawn Cemetery & Conservancy. Rose has worked in the death care industry continuously
for 30��years. He is Past President of the Cremation Association of North America (CANA)
and Vice President of Education on the Board of Directors for the International Cemetery Cremation
Funeral Association (ICCFA). He has also served on the New York State Association of
Cemeteries (NYSAC) Board as Chair of the Supplier Committee & a member of the Government
& Legal Affairs Committee.
Prior to joining Woodlawn, he served as Area Manager at Service Corporation International
for 10��years and Managing Partner at Carriage Services for 11��years, both leading industry
national fi rms. Rose received a B.S. in business administration from the University of Central
Florida, an A.S. degree in funeral service from Ogeechee Tech Community College, and an
A.S. degree in ornamental horticulture from Santa Fe Community College.
He is a resident of Dobbs Ferry and is active in local community organizations.
