2020
The past year has been one of the most challenging, both personally and professionally, for
almost everyone. We all must be grateful for our health and I’m sure most of us have had the
opportunity to review and adjust our priorities.
The one thing we all certainly miss is seeing our family, friends and co-workers, as well as
having the opportunity to safely be in a room full of people with the chance to develop new
relationships.
We are proud of the fact that our events team was able to be creative and pivot to continue
to recognize those having a significant positive impact on our region. What better year to
recognize our Healthcare Heroes?!
We certainly did things differently, but we were able to safely see many of our honorees, record them
getting their awards and broadcast their achievements through our media (now including Zoom!).
We will continue to do a hybrid of small socially-distanced gatherings and broadcast events
until it is safe to do otherwise, but our mission is the same: to let as many people as possible
learn about those making a positive contribution, and to network fantastic people together!
Here’s to a brighter year ahead and once again being able to see all of you in the near future!
