Adriana Forero has been serving as Marketing Operations Manager at Popular Bank, where
she has oversoon strategic organizational and marketing administration functions with a
particular focus on Popular’s branches in the NY Metro and South Florida Regions. In this
role, she has spearheaded strategic partnerships, Corporate sponsorships, branch and
corporate business event planning, and has worked closely alongside senior management to
achieve cross-functional and company-wide goals.
Forero has also played a vital role in Popular Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility and
community giving initiatives. She managed employee volunteer efforts consistent with the
Community Reinvestment Act in New York and New Jersey including donation drives to
collect school supplies and Toys for NYC children living in shelters. She has also functioned
as a liaison for the Popular Bank Foundation, and has overseen the donation of more than
$500 thousand to worthy nonprofit organizations since 2015.
Forero has more than 12 years of marketing and leadership experience within the banking
and financial services sectors. Prior to joining Popular Bank, she held positions with Bank of
America and Sterling National Bank.
A graduate of John Jay College holding a B.A. in Criminal Justice, she is the first in her family
to graduate from college. She is an active participant with nonprofit organizations Volunteers
of America and Junior Achievement of New York (JANY). In 2019, she received the JANY
Dynamic Duo Award, alongside colleague Valerie Camejo, in recognition of their commitment
to community service and corporate social responsibility.
