(such as flowers, bridges and dogs). Post-wedding,
couples can reflect on the crests as a representation
of their relationship — something
sweet to look back on decades later.
Pineapple Street Designs products are
meant for “people who want to have something
special and custom and unique … but
aren’t looking to spend a fortune,” Bambling
said — and her customers couldn’t agree
more. In reviews on wedding website The
Knot, one client, Janine H., emphasized that
the invitations “checked off all the boxes for
what I was looking for in my stationery and
decor needs,” as they were “hand-crafted,
customizable and affordable.” Another client,
Lexi S., gushed about the final result, remembering
that the “NYC skyline designs
with ... subway map envelopes were a huge
hit with our guests” due to a one-of-a-kind
“wow-factor.”
Coiro herself just got married at the end of
April, and, of course, she used Pineapple Street
products for her own wedding. Bambling and
Coiro did a blend of their black ink work with
watercolor — something that none of their
customers had asked them to do.
Balancing Pineapple Street Designs
alongside their full-time jobs, the two have
big dreams for their business. They want
to continue to hone in on their black-andwhite
specialities, adding more cities to
their portfolio. Currently, you can buy all of
their designs on their Etsy store (etsy.com/
PineappleStDesigns), but they hope to get
their stationery into some Astoria shops soon.
Keep a lookout for their Queens collection!
