When couples request specific sites,
Coiro creates custom work. Before taking
pen to paper, the women always try to set
up a meeting with their clients so as to get
a feel for the clients’ wants, preferences
and styles. Ultimately, the meeting is meant
to investigate “how we can put their love
story on paper,” Bambling explained. Coiro
prefers to sketch from life, but will use
reference photos, too, to create her designs.
Black-and-white landmarks are a Pineapple
Street staple, but they’ve also been showcasing
some watercolor work lately. Another new
addition? Couples’ crests. Pineapple Street has
been designing custom crests that feature initials
and monograms, distinct color schemes,
different art styles, and symbols of significance
