 Highlights
 Week 3
 BY GRACE CERINI
 BANTAMS
 It was beautiful weather
 for Team Cestra’s Pizza with
 American Cleaners. The game
was a dog fi ght from start to
fi nish and led to the Cestra’s
fi rst win of the season. Starting
 midfi elders Ava Vitale,
 Jake Rolla and assistant coach
 Nick Rizzi’s daughter, Adriana,
had a strong start to the
game. It was Ava’s fi rst start
of the season and though half
the size of most other players,
   showed great hustle in
 disrupting the attacks of the
 Cleaners. The midfi eld substitutes,
  Xavier Aponte, Brandon
 Delgado, and newly acquired
 Brahima Diallo added their
 input and each gained valuable
 minutes under their belt.
 The defenders were solid in
 the back. Cousins, Aliana and
 Gianna Didimenico were well
 supported by substitute in this
 game, Madison De La Cruz.
 The girls worked well together
 and created few opportunities
 for American Cleaners at
 starting goalie and game MVP,
 Alex Rolla. Alex protected
well and was even able to stop
 a late second half breakaway
 by the Cleaners which seemed
to have goal written all over
 it. Starting forward, Matthew
 Urquhart continued his
 scoring streak for his third
 straight game putting away
Cestra’s three goals. It was no
easy task for Matthew as he
was faced with a well organized
 and witty purple Team,
but the support was there from
 teammates and a very healthy
 environment with parents
 watching on and cheering. It
led to Cestra’s fi rst win and a
 clean sheet. Cestra’s Pizza 3
 American Cleaners 0.
 Team Spot On continues
 their winning streak! This
week they went head to head
 with Ann Clairs Catering.
They came out hard from the
 beginning and didn’t slow
 down the whole game. Both
 Julianna Mosca and Ryan
Faulkner had a pair of hat
tricks with 3 goals each. Madelyn
 Perrino also scored a goal
