
 
        
         
		RAIN HOSTS ANNUAL ALZHEIMER’S WALK AT ORCHARD BEACH 
 RAIN hosted their annual Alzheimer’s One Step at a Time Caregiver Walk on Thursday, September 12 on the Orchard Beach boardwalk. The event was attended by RAIN employees as well  
 as friends and family members of those who suffer from the disease.

 BCC RECOGNIZES CONSTITUTION AND CITIZENSHIP DAY 
 Bronx Community College held a celebration to recognize Constitution and Citizenship Day on Tuesday, September 17,  
 which featured a presentation by State Senator Gustavo Rivera on civic engagement and information on tenant rights  
 as well as an interactive art exhibit, music and even an opportunity to register to vote with help from the college’s Phi  
 Theta Kappa Honors Society. The event, which was organized by the college, BCC Reads, BCC’s offi ce of student life and  
 the BCC Democracy Project, was observed to commemorate the signing of the Constitution in 1787.
