THERAPY DOGS AT JACOBI
BRING JOY TO OUR PATIENTS
Certified Therapy Dog teams have been shown to
aid healing, improve emotional well-being, and reduce stress.
At Jacobi, our Therapy Dog Program
consists of volunteer certified Therapy Dog teams
who are beloved by patients and staff alike.

You and your dog can be part of this special program
by completing a training program and passing a certification test.
Training consists of six classes in the evenings (6 pm - 7pm)
once a week for six weeks.
To be accepted for training, your dog must be at least one year of age,
people-loving, and know basic obedience skills.
Evaluations will take place on Tuesday, November 5th (beginning at 6 pm)
and take about 20 minutes per dog.
