bounce their way. This is a resilient

BOYS MAJORS
Bronxville Auto met up against
Cardinal Spellman in a morning matinee
on Sunday. Bronxville’s offensive
front were lead by Aaron Diaz, Jayden
Piparo, Brian Jurado, and Matteo
Marrone. It was a close game where
both defenses where committed on not
allowing a score. Both offenses were
aggressive but great defensive stops
ended the fi rst half in a 0-0 score. Finally,
Bronxville Auto midfi elder
Giuseppe Mineiro opened up the scoring
in the second half of the game by
kicking a solid shot to the right end
post. This scoring allowed Bronxville
Auto to take charge of the game
time. Both teams kept being aggressive
on the offensive side of the ball
and ultimately Bronxville Auto took
advantage of such actions. Giuseppe
Mineiro, once again, used his speed to
create a clean break away that forced
the hand of the Cardinal Spellman
defense to foul him in the box and
granting Bronxville Auto a penalty
kick. Midfi elder Max Wiehler added
to the score by scoring on the penalty
kick and making the score 2-0.Defensively,
Christopher Flanagan,Ernest

moved the ball in a nice aggressive offensive
front. Goalie, Geo Rodriguez
made several stops, high and low, and
secured a solid 2-0 victory for Bronxville

on the side lines assisting in the strategy
of aligning the players throughout
this win. Get better Darin...the

Cozzi. Evan Frey opened the scoring
with his fi rst goal of the season off his
head! Aiden Osmaovic, Lucas Minero

with serious skill and power moving
the ball down fi eld at a constant pace
helping assist two more goals. One of
these goals was an amazing breakaway
scored by Vincent Vega. On the
defense, Hayden Padilla, Luc Louis,
Brian Baumann and Damien Hegarty
were a wall that nothing got past. A
big congrats goes to Phil Addario stopping
all eleven attempts at goal, giving
Hegarty a solid win leaving the fi nal
score 3-0. Two more honorable mentions
for shots on goal are from Anthony
Bondi and Pierce Brogan, both
attempts just missed a goal by inches!
