to Pelham Parkway Nursing Care
and Rehabilitation Facility, LLC.
We are a 200 bed skilled nursing
facility right here in the Pelham
Parkway area of the Bronx. The
same family has owned and operated
Pelham for the past 40 years.
We think of ourselves as part of
the community and we make an
effort to be a good neighbor. We
sponsor the Throggs Neck Girls’
Softball League, the Allerton Avenue
Homeowners’ Association,
and support the Morris Park Columbus
Day Parade. At Pelham
we like to think of ourselves as a
family and not as an institution.
We view the residents and their
family members as part of our
family and we treat them accordingly.
When placing a loved one in a
nursing facility, we know that can
be difficult. We appreciate the
trust you are placing in us and
strive to earn it every day. Communication
with family members
and loved ones is a very important
aspect of this trust. Each of

our five units has a designated
Registered Nurse Supervisor who
maintains contact with the families
and is available to answer any
questions and resolve any problems.
Our team of experienced
and skilled social workers is always
ready to listen and assist
families with any problem. The
Director of Nurses and the Administration
are available to family
members and residents at all
times.
Interdisciplinary care plan
meetings are conducted for every
resident and families are encouraged
to attend and participate.
We have a beautiful Rehabilitation
Department where we perform
miracles daily under the supervision
of our caring and skilled
therapists. The Recreation Department
at Pelham conducts
programs seven days a week
both daytime and evening time.
There are parties, contests, trips,
special dinners, barbecues, there
is something for everyone. We
have a comprehensive dementia
program.
