
Yemeni business alliance opens
The Alliance of Yemeni American Businesses held its grand opening in Morris
Park on Dec 11.
The Theodore Korony Post and
Auxiliary hosted a toy drive with
Locust Point Civic Association and
its sister legion posts. More than 900
children in underprivileged Bronx
communities will get toys from the
drive. The initiative was started by
former post commander Joseph Mazzariello,
who died in 2009 and believed
no child should go without a
toy for Christmas.

TNMA holds holiday party
The Throggs Neck Merchants Association held their annual holiday party
and general meeting at the Redwood Club on Schurz Avenue on Dec. 17.
St. Helena students decorated their classrooms for Christmas, showing that
they don’t need to go out and buy a Christmas tree. They can create their own!
