Larry Scott Blackmon leads the Public Affairs division at Fresh-
Direct, the leading e-commerce food grocer. Larry is also the
CEO of the Blackmon Organization, a public affairs consulting
in the administrations of Mayor de Blasio and former Mayor
Bloomberg.
Larry served as Senior Manager of Public Affairs for the New York

ment for the New York Sports and Convention Center.
From 2016-2021, Larry was recognized as one of the 50 most
powerful leaders in the Bronx.

Gary Axelbank is well known as the host and senior producer
cable television. Since the program’s debut in 1994, Gary has
hosted more than 1,300 weekly editions of BronxTalk.
He also hosts “The Bronx Buzz,” a weekly reporter’s roundtable
that debuted in 2016.
Gary has been a producer of news and sports for WNBC-TV,
and was also a producer on FOX Sports News.
A lifelong Bronxite, Gary graduated from Clinton HS and received
his undergraduate degree from Lehman College. He
resides with his wife in Van Cortlandt Village.

Rachel received her BS from Devry University in Business Administration
and Hospitality in 2011, with a minor in Psychology
of Mental Health. In 2012, she decided to pursue a Paralegal

Immigration Services (USCIS).
