Staff at the Williamsbridge Center on Tomlinson Avenue had their annual
holiday ugly sweater contest on Dec. 17. Residents voted on the most repulsive attire,
humorously. Nearly the entire staff took part and residents told jokes about
their sweaters. Following the contest, everyone was treated to warm apple cider
and Santa chocolates.

The Bronx Chamber of Commerce held its annual holiday celebration on
Dec. 9 at Villa Barone Manor. There was networking, dancing, dinner and
drinks, an ugly sweater contest, raffl e and toy drive for the children of New
Settlement Community Center in Mount Eden.
