Peter Madonia is the President of Madonia Bakery as well as
the Chairman of the Belmont Business Improvement District.
Madonia has a legacy of public service. He spent 12 years
Prior to that, Madonia was Chief of Staff to Mayor Michael
Bloomberg from 2002-2006, when he managed the day-today
operations. He also served in City Hall during the Koch Administration.
Madonia is the third-generation family owner of Madonia
Bakery on Arthur Avenue with his business partner, Charles
LaLima, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018.

McCarthy was then elected Battalion Delegate for the FD-

Mari G. Millet is the President and CEO of Morris Heights
Health Center, Inc. She has been a Healthcare Executive with
over 38 years of extensive leadership experience.
As President and CEO since September 2017, Millet has been

leadership relationships and improving patient and employee
experiences.
Before arriving to Morris Heights, Millet served as the Deputy
Executive Director for Gotham Health, a Division of Health and
Hospitals Corporation.
SHANA MCCORMICK

Shana McCormick has a background in accounting and
property management and spent over 11 years within that
profession. It was during the pandemic where she volunteered
to help with the rollout of the Relief Access Program for The
Bronx as Volunteer Coordinator.. Having grown up on welfare
and experienced several hardships within her personal life, she
felt a true responsibility to see that this program helps as many
individuals as possible and creates a lasting impact.
Rap4Bronx began as an emergency food relief program, addressing
the sharp rise in food insecurity throughout our Bronx
communities.
