STEPHEN B. KAUFMAN P.C.
Stephen B. Kaufman is dedicated to serving the people. Born
and raised there, he graduated from Stuyvesant High School
and attended Hunter College. He received his law degree
from The Washington College of Law at American University.
Kaufman started his career in the Bronx with the district attorney.
In 1974, he was elected to the New York City Council. He
made the jump to the state level in 1988 when he was elected
to the State Assembly in New York, and in 18 years held leadership
roles. The Bronx has always been the most important
place for him, and starting Stephen B. Kaufman, P.C. was a lifelong
pursuit.

Dan started his career on the loading docks of the Hunts
Point Market. He became the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 202
in 1991 and served in that capacity until being elected President
in 1999.
Over the years his dedication has played an important part
