and helping others
Kelly Loveman is the creative services coordinator for VRH Construction in Englewood, New Jersey.
She has earned many accolades in her position,
but she explained that one of her proudest
moments was developing the company’s intranet
portal, called MYVRH. “I designed, launched,
and currently maintain the portal which enables
the instant sharing of important company-wide
information. It is something I really enjoy doing,
“said Loveman, “It’s also rewarding when VRH
is awarded for a job that I assisted with putting
together a response to a request for proposal to.”
Loveman got her start studying graphic design
at Ramapo College in New Jersey, where she
graduated in 2015, but instead went into the automotive
industry. After she discovered an opening
for her current role for VRH Construction,
she decided to give the aviation industry a try. At
the time, she didn’t know a lot about the industry,
but she was drawn to the role because of its
appeal as well as the excitement of what the role
consisted of.
While Loveman’s success is certainly the result
of her own hard work and consistency, she
still gives credit to those her always supported
her such as her fellow marketing team, Jim Silvestor,
the director of marketing and Design-
Build services, as well as her parents.
“My parents have always been my mentors
and source of inspiration, as they encourage
me to do my best and remind me that I can
achieve anything I set my mind on,” said Loveman.
“Observing their work ethic and resiliency
when encountering obstacles provided me with
the foundation to never give up on myself or my
dreams.”
The support from her team and her family
throughout her life and career has definitely
been part of what inspires her to keep paying that
support forward.
“I feel satisfied when I am able to help others,
especially when it comes to working on a
project with colleagues and watching it come
to life,” said Loveman. “A goal of mine is to become
a supervisor or manager at VRH. I would
love the opportunity to lead others.”
