Chipotle fans will now be able to order their favorite meal at 61-35 Junction Blvd. in Rego Park. Rego Center also houses Century 21, Marshall’s, Kohl’s, Costco and restaurants such as Dallas BBQ, Panera Bread and Subway. The restaurant will be located on the ground floor of the shopping center. Shannon Hughes, spokesperson for the restaurant, said the chain is hiring and those interested in a job can apply online. Deputy Inspector William McBride, commanding officer of the 111th Precinct, was at the Community Board 11 meeting in Bayside this month to discuss the break-in trend and how residents can better protect themselves going forward. “We’ve had sizable decreases over the last year in crime in all categories except for two,” McBride said. “That’s robbery…and grand larceny.” McBride warned residents about a car break-in trend that the precinct has taken note of in the area, which he attributed in part to the rise in grand larceny. “What’s been driving our grand larceny crimes up the last couple of weeks has been car breaks,” McBride said.
