STORY AND PHOTOS BY STEPHEN VRATTOS Half-price drinks, free appetizers and a professional DJ spinning tunes; the new Happy Hour Fridays at Towers on the Green is the ideal solution for cooling down after a tough week or heating up for the weekend. The weekly wingding kicked off July 1, the perfect preamble to the 4th of July holiday weekend, and the mood was certainly ripe for some fireworks! “This the the kind of place we’ve been waiting a long time for,” Sheila Levine enthused of the new venue for Friday afternoon frivolity. “It’s absolutely terrific!” She and tablemate Asher Pachinsky were enjoying a nosh with their potent potables to which Asher commented, “Delicious!” Towers Restaurant proprietors Buffy and Angelo did a masterful job “sprucing up” the catering hall.
