Over the years many changes have occurred
and I, as a member of the Board, am proud to
have been part of them:
1. Created the garden above the diving pool,
2. Helped generate over $13 million for the
country club by making all new shareholders
mandatory members,
3. Renovated both the indoor and outdoor
pools,
4. Smoking is now prohibited in all interiors
of our complex…including apartments,
balconies, and terraces,
5. Brought “Diner en Blanc,” a world famous
event, to North Shore Towers.
Every initiative starts in a committee comprised
of residents; other committees become
involved i.e., capital improvements, finance,
house and grounds, and ultimately the Board
of Directors.
GOING FORWARD WE MUST PRIORITIZE
OUR NEEDS! We must recognize our aging
infrastructure and respond. We must be
vigilant of the changes in NYC’s codes and
respond.
