Vol. 5, No. 10 In you can't be there, we are here for you
5pm-6pm
Port listens to cargo needs at JFK. The worldwide cargo crunch has local handling companies at the airports, and business partners
including brokers, truckers and area warehouses stretched beyond capacity. The Port Authority has recognized appeals for
assistance for short-term facilities by the Kaamco Cargo Committee and business partners. JFK Deputy GM Teresa Rizzuto and
Airside Manager John Arancio speak with Lufthansa cargo termnal manager Vito D'Anna to discuss ways in which cooperation
can lead to relief and get cargo cleared and moving at the airport. Photo by Jeff Yapalater

and WFS have voiced their concerns. Meetings and
site visits are planned by Deputy General Manager Teresa
Rizzuto to understand the volume and overwhelming number
