The Reverend Andre Bain, a Roman Catholic priest and the pastor at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church (Bay Ridge, Brooklyn), performed the ceremony before immediate family members. The bride, Casey, is a Human Resources professional at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. She graduated from SUNY-Albany and received an M.B.A. from Fordham University. Originally from Huntington, NY, she is the daughter of Jean Schnurr and Albert Schnurr of Wallace, NC. She will be assuming the name of the groom. The groom, who goes by John, is a Major in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and a fi nancial compliance professional. He graduated from American University in Washington, DC and received a M.A. from Georgetown University, followed by a law degree from Touro Law Center. He is the son of Yuk and Ying Cheng of Flushing, NY (Auburndale). The couple resides in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
