The robbery took place about 4:40 p.m. on May 6 at a TD Bank, located at 56-50 Main St., police said. After entering the bank, the suspect approached the teller, passed a demand note and fl ed westbound on Booth Memorial Avenue with the money, offi cials said. Police describe the suspect as an Asian man, 17 to 25 years old, 5 feet 5 inches, with blond hair and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). 12TH PRECINCT Forest Hills and Rego Park Cops seek suspect in Forest Hills pizzeria burglary Police are searching for a burglar who they say stole cash from a Forest Hills pizzeria last week by breaking into the business through a rooftop window. The burglary took place about 2 a.m. on May 6 at 71-37 Austin St., cops said. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). 114TH PRECINCT Astoria, Long Island City, Woodside and Jackson Heights Man sought in LIC shooting Police are looking for a 33-yearold man they say shot three people in March at the NYCHA Queensbridge South Houses in Long Island City. On Sunday, March 23, Shalarmel Nieves left a party he was attending near 41-16 12th St. at 1:35 a.m. and a short time later came back and began shooting at a group of people standing in front of 41-16 12th St., according to cops. Nieves shot three victims and then fl ed the scene. A 50-year-old woman was shot in the leg and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital; a 25-year-old man was shot in the foot and taken to Cornell Hospital; and a 23-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to Lenox Hill Hospital. All three were listed in stable condition, police said. The NYPD describe Nieves as 5 feet 8 inches tall, Hispanic and 175 pounds. Arrest made in 2013 LIC murder Police have arrested a 27-year-old man for the murder of an aspiring hiphop artist last year in Long Island City. Francisco Leal, 27, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the chest on February 2, 2013, at the corner of 21st Street and 41st Avenue near the Queensbridge Houses. In December, the NYPD released a photo and information of the suspect wanted in connection to the murder. Earlier last month, Clarence Scott, who police initially identifi ed as Lawrence Scott, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force April 4 in Virginia, according to published reports. Scott was then arraigned on April 25 in Queens Criminal Court, according to the Queens district attorney’s offi ce. Scott, who is being held without bail, faces charges of murder in the second degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, according to a criminal complaint. Serial groper wanted A man is wanted for inappropriately touching two teens and two women in Woodside and Astoria on the morning of May 6, police said. In each incident, the suspect approached the victims, tried to speak to them and touched their buttocks over their clothing, cops said. The man fi rst came up to a 23-year-old woman about 6:40 a.m. Tuesday at Northern Boulevard and 57th Street in Woodside, according to offi cials. Within about the next hour and a half, he touched three more victims, ages 25, 16 and 14 in Astoria. He came up to the 25-year-old at a Rite Aid on Steinway Street near 34th Avenue at about 7:45 a.m., then approached the 16-year-old on 35th Avenue near 38th Street around 8 a.m., and the second teen on 31st Avenue near 38th Street about 8:30 a.m., cops said. Police have released photos of the suspect from the Rite Aid incident, and describe him as Hispanic, 25 to 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 220 to 250 pounds.
