Megan Ryan plays an important
role in keeping NuHealth and
the Nassau University Medical
Center healthy.
Ryan, serves as executive vice
president and general counsel for
NuHealth/NUMC. She also has served
as NuHealth/NUMC’s chief compliance,
privacy and ethics responsible for investigating possible
fraud, waste, or abuse and been responsible for maintaining
a compliance program since 2016. She also has served as the
chief compliance officer for the Nassau Queens Performing
Provider System in the New York State Delivery System Reform
Incentive Payment Program.
Prior to joining the Nassau Health Care Corp., she served as in
house corporate counsel for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. at
Martyn, Toher and Martyn and worked as an associate attorney
at O’Reilly, Marsh and Corteselli, P.C., Ryan earned her bachelor
of science degree from Fordham University as a Dean’s
Scholar and Biology Chairman Circle honoree and earned her
juris doctor from Saint John’s University School of Law. She
won the 2016 Long Island Power Woman Award. And as an LIBN
Leader in the Law in 2017 and as “Forty Under Forty “winner in
2018.

New York State, Phyllis Rothstein

honor. Within the last year, Rothstein has expanded the size of
her office, coverage area, and employee head count Rothstein
also has a fully staffed commercial division for all of New York

doing business to all.
Rothstein is also currently a real estate agent with MetroNet
Realty. She continues to grow her individual portfolio in business
with the selling and purchasing of high-end investment
properties, loan consulting and placement. Based on experience
and knowledge of value in the market, she has expanded into a
second business based on hard money loans as well as sales of
small residential/commercial properties to high-end commercial
properties.
