If you've been to the Lon Island Aquarium, chances are you've seen
Candyce Paparo's work. Paparo is the director of animal training
at the Long Island Aquarium. She has worked there for 19 years,
starting in the education department and working her way up to
her current position. She has worked with numerous animal species
including California sea lions, harbor seals, a gray seal, North
American river otters, Japanese Macaques, Geoffroy’s marmosets,
emus, reptiles, owls, white-nosed coati, bats, prehensile-tailed
porcupines and a two-toed sloth.
