VENDORS AT THE LIC FLEA Make sure to check out these vendors the next time you visit the LIC Flea & Food! NYC Photo Unique Allison Hope is a writer by day and photographer by sunset. Most importantly, she’s a native New Yorker, born and raised in Queens. She finds beauty in those little moments between dawn and dusk, and the way that nature emerges in the concrete jungle to quiet the constant hum of millions of people going about their business. Her photography reflects western Queens and the views along the East River in a timeless way. Ten percent of all revenue from her photography sales goes to charity to help Syrian and other refugees (The Migrant Offshore Aid Station, which is a family who rescues refugees at sea). MSJrCreations MSJrCreations offers wood and fiber optic plastic showcase shadowboxes made with old classic/vintage toy figurines. White Rabbit White Rabbit is a fun, offbeat shop inspired by pop culture with room for personalization. All items are created in Harlem by owner, Patricia Dunn. When she’s not working her day job in the media industry, she’s out exploring New York City with her pals and pups, Q and Seven. Urban Overhaul Urban Overhaul is a Brooklyn-based small business focused on restoring and redesigning unique pieces of vintage and antique furniture. Every item is refinished with its own individualized design using different techniques and materials, including homemade chalk-style paint and custom stains. The creator, Ashley Pilla, has always had a passion for fixing up old furniture and turning it into something beautiful and usable, which is what Urban Overhaul is all about. Whether she is restoring a piece to its original state or giving it a completely new look, every item is transformed into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
