One of our favorite projects, Schwab House (see above), was created in 2013. It has matured into a lovely space to be viewed from the street or by the occupants in apartments surrounding it. This 8000 square foot rooftop garage faced north and was transformed into an “Edge of the Woods” garden. Since the building faced north we chose plants that grow in dappled shade: Japanese Maples, Azaleas, Redbud and shade perennials.
