With the new U.S. rules for international
travel will covid testing centers remain
open? There is no answer to that
but other countries have different requirements
so it seems that these centers
will remain open for the near future.
 Covid testing centers will remain
open at the airports until September.

 Mask Matters
NEW: The TSA has increased fines
for mask violations and extend necessity
to wearing into 2022. Masks are required
at all times in every building at the
 Port Authority airports.
FAA Statement on Wearing Masks in
Airports and On Planes The Centers for
 Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),
 the Transportation Security Administration
(TSA), and the U.S. Department of
 Transportation (DOT) remind the traveling
public that at this time if you travel,
you are still required to wear a mask on
planes, buses, trains, and other forms
 of public transportation traveling into,
within, or out of the United States, and
in U.S. transportation hubs such as airports
 and stations
 International
 Travelers
 Welcomed Back
 on November
 8th!
 British Airways at JFK Terminal
& held a big celebration welcoming
 back British and international
 travelers to JFK Airport. It
was a happy, warm and exciting
event with hugs, kisses and claps
 from everyone as passengers exited
 the arrivals hall.
 The influx of travellers will
bring us all closer to normalcy and
bring in billions of dollars in tourist
 and hospitality dollars. Airport
 concessions in particular at the
airports will reap the benefits. The
entire workforce at all the airports
 will benefit from increasing number
 and types of jobs available.
It is said that the lack of response
 to job opportunities is
lackluster. Some feel that there is
a sense that people are looking
for more than just a paycheck. But
studies show that they are looking
 for more personal fulfillment.
Today there are a wide variety
of positions in the aviation field,
 and opportunities to explore more
 jobs. More companies are offering
 additional benefits such as
schooling, and more PTO to accommodate
 the pressures some
 have with childcare.
It is a great time to begin a new
career or go back to school. The
 aviation community needs more
 qualified people in cargo, piloting,
 freight, hospitality and more.
 National Aviation
 History Month-The
 Ninety-Nines

 Rasche, first female aerobatics pilot;
 Ruth Rowland Nichols, first licensed
 American  woman hydroplane pilot;

 Cancer Awareness-
 Everyday
The official month for Breast Cancer
 Awareness affecting millions
of women every year I over, but not
the fight for millions struggling everyday.
  Every year more people become
aware of the need to share the
message of caring and hope with our
 fellow workers friends and family.
More are taking health actions such
as regular annual exams to for early
 detection and treatment against disease
which also affects both men and
 women.
 International Flights
 are open to the U.S.
You must be vaccinated by a recognized
vaccine to enter the U.S. under
 new rules.
Proof of vaccine, or in some
cases, proof of PCR testing within 72
hours of flight time and potential quarantines
are now to be expected on
 those countries allowing international
 travellers into their countries. Check
 with your airline for requirements.
 Passports: Many countries require
your passport have 3 to 6 months validity
 remaining before they will allow
you to enter or issue a travel visa.
