Located adjacent to the Air Traffic Control Tower, The container rack storage unit has total of 13 rows,
and is 3 levels high. It can accommodate up to 552 containers. Containers are loaded and offloaded by
a forklift. Terminal 4 is the first passenger terminal at JFK to have this in place. The container Rack will
enhance overall airside safety, especially during high wind conditions.
