 United Adult Ministries, the parent  
 company of Flushing House, celebrated  
 its 102nd Anniversary on May 17th  
 at Leonard’s Palazzo with over 200  
 supporters. This year’s event was  
 a celebration of cultural diversity,  
 recognizing the diverse backgrounds of the  
 people we serve.  
 Five senior advocates were honored with the  
 Expanding Horizons for Older Adults Awards, and the  
 one Older Adult Ministry Award.  
 All proceeds of the gala support a special endowment  
 fund, which helps keep Flushing House an a or dable  
 option for many of the older adults who live there. As  
 a not-for-pro t or ganization, we raise funds to o er  
 opportunities for the residents to age in place.
