Queens Village man
fatally knifed
Detectives are investigating the murder
of a 70-year-old man who was fatally
stabbed on the night of Friday, June
22, in front of the Queens Village home
where he lived.
Officers from the 105th Precinct
responded to a 911 call just after 9:41 p.m.
on June 22 at a home on 104th Avenue
near 220th Street.
Upon arriving at the location, they
found 70-year-old George Bartoli lying in
the driveway with multiple stab wounds
to his neck. Paramedics rushed Bartoli
to Long Island Jewish Medical Center,
where he was pronounced dead.
Police offered few details about the
case, but sources indicated that the incident
may have been domestic in nature.
The New York Daily News reported that
Bartoli rented a room from the homeowner.
Cops found a knife, believed to be the
murder weapon, about 50 yards from
where Bartoli was found, the Daily News
also reported.
No arrests have been made, and the
investigation is ongoing, police said.

Ozone Park assailant wanted
Cops are still looking for a suspect who
broke a man’s skull on a South Richmond
Hill street last month.
According to police, at 3 a.m. on May
27, a 50-year-old man was walking home
when he was approached by an unknown
man in front of 127-10 Liberty Ave. The
perpetrator struck the man in the head
with a closed fist, causing the victim to hit
his head on the pavement.
Following the attack, authorities said,
the assailant fled the scene on foot westbound
along Liberty Avenue.
Officers from the 106th Precinct and
EMS units responded to the incident.
Paramedics brought the victim to Jamaica
Hospital, where he was diagnosed with
and treated for a fractured skull.
Cops described the suspect as a black
man with an athletic build and a goatee,
standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200
pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy
blue T-shirt and ripped blue jeans.

Bus creep touched self
on ride in Flushing
Cops are searching for a man who was
caught touching himself while riding the
bus in Flushing.
According to police, at 7 a.m. on June
18, an unknown man sat down on the
NYC Transit Bus #Q27 at the northeast
corner of Kissena Boulevard and Elder
Avenue. Shortly after sitting down, the
man began to touch his genitals over his
sweatpants.
The suspect fled the scene when the
bus stopped at the corner of Kissena
Boulevard and Elder Avenue.
Authorities described the perpetrator
as a black man with a beard and dreadlocks,
approximately 35 years old, standing
6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt,
blue jeans and black sneakers.

Pervert groped woman
at Steinway St. stop
Cops have released images of a suspect
who recently grabbed a woman’s buttocks
on the staircase of an Astoria subway
station.
Law enforcement sources said the incident
occurred at 1:15 p.m. on June 4
inside the Steinway Street station on the
M and R lines.
According to authorities, a 24-year-old
woman was walking up the stairs from
the platform to the mezzanine when the
perpetrator approached her from behind
and grabbed her buttocks. The victim
managed to take a cellphone picture of
the suspect before he fled the scene in an
unknown direction.
Police described the subway creep as a
Hispanic man between 28 and 30 years
of age with black hair, standing 5 feet 11
inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He
was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap,
a light blue button-down shirt and dark
blue jeans.

Corona man turns self in for
attacking traffic agent
A Corona man turned himself in to
police custody on Sunday, June 24, a
month after he assaulted an NYPD traffic
agent on a Jackson Heights street.
According to police, at 3:30 p.m. on
May 29, a 46-year-old male traffic agent
was walking in front of 84-18 Roosevelt
Ave. when he as approached from behind
by 27-year-old Jhon Correa-Quintero,
who grabbed the victim by the back of the
neck and forced him to walk several feet
before pushing him to the ground.
Correa-Quintero, a resident of 55th
Avenue in Corona, proceeded to kick and
punch the victim several times throughout
the body, causing the victim to sustain
pain and swelling to the head, before
fleeing the scene.
EMS responded to the location and
transported the victim to Queens General
Hospital, where he was treated and
released.
According to sources familiar with the
case, Correa-Quintero turned himself
in to the 110th Precinct Elmhurst station
house on June 24. He was arrested
and charged with assault, menacing and
harassment.
