Flushing resident
develops breakthrough
treatment for psoriasis
Flushing resident/entrepreneur Emil Ghatan has
developed a cream ointment which makes marked
improvement on light-to-medium psoriasis conditions.
Ghatan, a successful importer/distributor and
real estate investor, has suff ered from psoriasis.
“Th ere are 7.5 million people suff ering from psoriasis
in the United States alone, and many millions
more throughout the world,” Ghatan explained.
“I have seen fi rst-hand how this non-contagious
skin condition (which is mainly from an overproduction
of the body’s auto-immune system) looks
unsightly, and can cause stigma even depression
for the suff erer! It is oft en misunderstood.”
Ghatan has been diligent in his knowledge and
research: “Most people with psoriasis have it
in their system for their whole life. However, it
can be controlled and minimized,” he describes.
Disappointed with the products and treatments
available for psoriasis, Ghatan began working
with an Israeli pharma laboratory, developing
DermaER.
Th is new-to-market therapeutic salve provides
eff ective relief. It allows for hydration and soft ening
of the skin, leaving it nourished and calm. DermaER
has received Federal Drug Administration (FDA)
registration and it is endorsed by the National
Psoriasis Foundation.
Th e active ingredient is salicylic acid-2%. Th e
“inactive” ingredients are: water, mineral oil, cera
alba, grape seed oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil,
cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, decyl oleate, coconut
oil, wheat germ oil, steareth 2, steareth 21, shea
butter, dehydroacetic acid, vitamin E, B.H.T, triclosan.
It is safe, non-toxic, and has no side eff ects.
Ghatan, known for his activism with Flushingarea
Jewish organizations, developed this patented,
over-the-counter cream which has natural organic
ingredients, medicinal plants, and compounds,
with a simple application.
Based on the success of DermaER, Ghatan has
been motivated to share his breakthrough discovery
with the psoriasis community.
“Like I have brought people together through
my importing and distribution operation, I believe
that if the psoriasis community mobilizes and joins
together, this condition can be overcome and conquered.”
DermaER is easily available online at DermaER.

Summer nausea is a thing: 4 tips to prevent
nausea from ruining fun in the sun
Summer is the long-awaited season
for fun and relaxation, warm weather
and quintessential outdoor activities.
However, the season’s most anticipated
and exciting events can also
lead to a not-so-fun problem: nausea.
Whether it’s chasing kids through
the park, dreaded long commutes in
the heat or seeing the season’s newest
3D blockbuster, plans can quickly
be ruined by the onset of nausea.
According to a new survey from
Dramamine-N, nearly one third of
Americans note that nausea is debilitating
and gets in the way of living
their everyday lives. In fact, nausea
is making stomachs so uneasy,
that more than one in ten Americans
actually have a fear of nausea and
vomiting, called emetophobia, placing
that fear on par with the fears of
fl ying and needles.
Don’t let nausea spread dark clouds
over your bright, sunny day. When
nausea strikes, follow these tips to
ensure summer is as carefree and
exciting as it should be - free of fear
and full of fun.
1. Take cover
Heat exhaustion is a common
problem many people may encounter
during the summer and it oft en
results in symptoms of nausea, like
dizziness and vomiting. When staying
outside for a prolonged period of
time, be sure to wear sunscreen or a
sunhat to protect the skin from direct
sun exposure and take breaks in the
shade or indoors whenever possible.
If at outdoor social gatherings,
limit the intake of alcohol or sugary
drinks, which can further dehydrate
the body, potentially leading
to nausea.
2. Come prepared
Whether packing a beach bag for a
day in the sand, stuffi ng your carry-on
with travel essentials or stocking up for
a hot day at a theme park, it’s important
to be prepared for any summer
ailments that might strike. When it
comes to nausea, pack Dramamine-N,
a line of two new products specifi cally
formulated to treat nausea and its
associated symptoms. Dramamine-N
features both a long-lasting formula
for up to 24 hours of protection from
nausea, dizziness and vomiting, and
a multi-purpose formula that treats a
broad range of nausea causes.
3. Focus
At the onset of nausea, it can oft en
be hard to think about anything else.
Focusing energy on deep inhales and
exhales can calm nausea-induced anxieties
and stressors, while also physically
relaxing tense stomach muscles.
Try downloading a breathing exercise
app to help guide each breath, focusing
on those deep breaths.
4. Mask smelly triggers
As temperatures rise, so can
unpleasant smells. A pile of unwashed
wet towels from the pool, strange
fi shy smells by the beach and an array
of sunscreens and aloes on a hot summer
day can be enough to make anyone’s
nose (and stomach) turn at the
unpleasant mix of odors. To avoid
summer stenches triggering symptoms
of nausea, try using a lotion
that has calming lavender smells or
bringing a travel-sized air freshener
around with you to help mask bad
odors when they arise.
Regardless of the cause, when nausea
strikes, it’s important to be armed
and ready by employing these tips
to help quickly and effi ciently combat
nausea to get back to enjoying
all the fun summer has to off er. For

preventing nausea and its associated
symptoms, visit Dramamine.com.
