The stickup took place at 11 p.m. on April 24 inside the eatery located at 92-17 Jamaica Ave. Police said the perpetrator — described as a Hispanic male standing 5 foot, 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a mustache — walked into the location and displayed a firearm. He then removed $600 in cash from the register and fled on foot in an unknown direction. Officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to the incident; no injuries were reported. The gunman was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, dark blue jeans and black shoes. All calls and messages are kept confidential. 104th Precinct Ridgewood, Glendale, Maspeth, Middle Village Ridgewood cops help rescue cat stuck in car Curiosity almost got the better of this cat had it not been for some alert patrol officers in Ridgewood. On Thursday, May 5, patrol officers and Emergency Services Units from the 104th Precinct rescued a black kitten that was stuck inside of a car’s engine after hearing meowing coming from under the car’s hood. The precinct took to Twitter to tout the rescue. “PURRRRRRR-fect job by both our patrol officers & ESU for rescuing this kitten stuck in a vehicle engine today,” the precinct tweeted. The owner of the cat is still unknown, and the 104th Precinct is asking residents to call the precinct at 718-386-3004 with any information about the cat’s owner.
