Take a trip to Long Island City’s Il Falco restaurant. The spot offers exquisite Italian dishes, complimented by a fancy atmosphere. Il Falco was established in August 2014 by two experienced chefs named Segundo Tinishanay and Bolivar Perez.  The men were inspired to open their own dining place, after developing decades of Italian cuisine expertise at Il Mulino, a popular restaurant in Manhattan. Tinishanay explained the significance of his humble beginnings and entrepreneurship: “For me, this is my dream. I kept a place Il Mulino as the number one Italian restaurant for 23 years.” Il Falco’s classy setting presents two rows of tables that are each decorated with a rose. The walls are partially brick, with a scenic painting that is exhibited at the back of the restaurant. Near the entrance, a luminous bar and wine collection hosts several alcoholic beverages. From 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday through Friday, beers are $5 and house wine is $6 during happy hour. The restaurant provides scrumptious Italian meals. The chicken Parmesan resembles a mini pizza pie with breaded chicken, tomato sauce and mozzarella. Lobster ravioli can be ordered as a side dish to enhance this tasty meal. The ravioli are cooked in front of customers, due to Il Falco’s tableside service. Desserts and pastas are also publicly prepared. On the seafood side, one of the signature dishes is a branzino al sale special for $35. The broiled branzino is marinated in Italian sea salt. Il Falco uses its upstairs dining area for weddings, private parties, confirmations, business meetings and more. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Treat yourself to Italian
