FOR BREAKING NEWS VISIT www.qns.com november 19, 2015 • THANKSGIVING • The Queens Courier 7 Pumpkin Ravioli with Sage Butter and Toasted Hazelnuts Ingredients: • 2 Boxes Durso’s Pumpkin Ravioli • 1 ct. Durso’s Sage Butter Sauce • 2 Tbs. Peeled Hazelnuts (coarsely chopped) or substitute Pine Nuts • Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese • Salt and Pepper to Taste Preparation: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. While water is coming to a boil, in a separate saute pan, lightly toast hazelnuts (or pine nuts) over low heat. Remove from pan and set aside. Add Durso’s Sage Butter & shake the pan from time to time to keep the butter from burning. Watch closely...once it starts to brown, you may want to remove from heat. Once the water comes to a boil, add the ravioli. Cook as directed. Drain and add to brown butter, stirring to coat. Serve immediately and top with toasted nuts, parmesan cheese, and black pepper.
