Since she took over the lead for the American Airlines cornerstone hub in New York, she has managed $1.6 billion worth of Capital Construction at JFK LGA & EWR Airports, impacting nearly two-million-square -eet of space both on air and land sides. She boasts over 15 years of design, construction, construction management and program management experience for aviation, education, institutional and retail projects. Her expertise lies in management of projects from inception to completion, which includes interfacing with consultants, design teams, contractors and construction managers, and providing guidance and oversight on quality control and contract delivery. Currently Teta-Whelan is heralding the fi rst Integrated Project Delivery in North America for the aviation industry. Teta-Whelan’s dedication to the construction industry and the built environment is evident in her involvement with the various industry associations. She currently sits on the National Board of Directors and is the international vice chair for the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) International Committee as well as serving as president of the Metro NY/NJ Chapter. As an ardent industry practitioner, Teta-Whelan is focused on building strong collaboration within the industry, both domestically and internationally. As the CMAA International Lead, she is managing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CMAA and other International Construction Industry organizations, both in Europe and Asia. PATRICIA TIFFANY Senior VP, Director of Marketing and communications Flushing Bank Patricia Tiffany is a senior vice president and the director of marketing and communications for Flushing Bank. Sheis a seasoned marketing executive, with over 30 years of experience in the fi nancial services industry. Prior to joining Flushing Bank, she was a senior vice president with Citigroup in the Consumer Lending Group. Tiffany also spent many years with JP Morgan Chase where she held numerous senior marketing positions in their Credit Card Services Division. She currently serves on the Fund Board for Queensborough Community College and is a committee member for the United Way of Long Island’s Annual Luncheon. Tiffany received her MBA from Adelphi University and a BS in marketing and management from Long Island University/ C.W. Post College.
