The award ceremony took place at Temple Beth Sholom in Roslyn. Among the other honorees were: Hadassah leaders from Nassau Region chapters; New York State Comptroller Thomas di Napoli; Dr. Betty Diamond, scientist and doctoral program director, Hofstra School of Medicine; and the Holocaust Memorial Center od Nassau County. !
