Many people experience symptoms of depression and/or anxiety.
Others have intense feelings of bereavement which do not go away.
There is no stigma in getting help to feel better and enjoy life to the fullest!
The Community Advisory Program for the Elderly,
known as CAPE, is an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic
for persons aged 50 and over. CAPE offers individual,
group and family therapy, psychiatric evaluations and
medication monitoring for both clinic and home bound
older adults.
In addition to individual therapy CAPE offers the
following support groups: "You and Your Aging Parents"
for adult children of elderly parents, "Caregivers
Support" for those caring for a spouse, "Bereavement"
for those mourning the death of a spouse, "Women's
Support" a women's support group, and "Transitions"
for those transitioning to a new phase of life.
Medicare, Medicaid, and most other insurances
are accepted. To schedule an intake or obtain

Transportation, including a wheelchair
accessible van is available for a small fee.
