JD, vice president of diversity, equity and
inclusion, and her fellow Power Women of
Long Island award winners.
LaMon is a professor, poet and leader who has been a key
contributor to Adelphi for more than a decade. Under her leadership,
the University has launched several initiatives that have earned us
national recognition and the appreciation of the diverse members of
our community. She has enabled Adelphi to continue to progress in
our mission to become a model of diversity, equity and inclusion.
