Gina is a native of Long Island, growing up
in Holbrook with her parents and sister. Gina
currently resides in Port Washington for
over 30 years with her husband, Anthony
and children, Anthony and Christina and
Apollo the dog.
Gina graduated with a bachelor’s degree in
Psychology, in 1989 from St. Joseph’s College
located in Patchogue. Gina attended the
school of Social Work at Adelphi University
located in Garden City and graduated in
May 1993 with a Master’s degree in social
work. In September 1993, she completed

Founder and Executive Director
Kiora Johnson is the Founder and Executive Director
of God's Blessings Plan, which has been in operation
since January 2018. She earned her undergraduate
degree from the University of Maryland, College Park
in Finance and International Business. She obtained
her M.B.A from Fordham University specializing in
Communications and Media Management as well
as Finance.
in 2018 Johnson left her six-figure position to work for
God's Blessings Plan, with no salary. The organization
offers necessities to the most vulnerable communities
throughout Long Island and New York City. The
mission is to show Christ’s love and compassion to
the underserved and underrepresented through
strategic outreaches, leaving people with a sense of
love and dignity.

Elizabeth Kase is an attorney Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, where
she is the co-chair of the firm's Cannabis Law practice group and
a member of the White Collar Crime and Investigations practice
group and the Health Law department.
Previously, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in New
York County where she prosecuted hundreds of cases pertaining
to narcotics, street crime, domestic violence, white collarcrime
and sex crimes.
Since the inception of New York’s Compassionate Care Act in 2014,
Elizabeth has represented clients in the emerging NY cannabis
marketplace. She is widely recognized for her distinguished
experience and was named a “Trailblazer in Cannabis Law” in
the National Law Journal.
Elizabeth has been designated a New York Super Lawyer since
2016 and recognized by The Nassau County Bar Association for
her zealous advocacy as pro bono staff attorney at The Safe Center
of Long Island. She proudly serves as Village Justice of Baxter.

Annemarie Jones focuses her practice on the representation of commercial
clients in complex civil litigation, representing corporate,
construction, and technology clients in state and federal courts in all
aspects of discovery, motion practice, and trial litigation.
Annemarie has litigated various issues, including employment
agreements, class actions, business divorce, and breach of contract.
Annemarie has handled mergers and acquisitions for various Long
Island businesses. Annemarie also focuses her practice on the defense
of municipalities.
Annemarie received her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from
Tulane University Law School, where she was inducted into the Order
of the Coif. Annemarie received her undergraduate degree, cum
laude, in Business Management from Binghamton University where
she was a member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Scholars Program.
Annemarie Jones is the Vice President of the Federal Bar Association,
Eastern District of New York Chapter. She was also named a Rising
Star by Super Lawyers.

Michael Magro Foundation
Vice President
Terrie Magro founded the Michael Magro Foundation
after her son Michael died of leukemia in
2004, to help others overcome the challenges and
hardships of childhood cancer while honoring
Michael’s life and memory. The Michael Magro
Foundation has educated patients, families,
teachers, and communities about pediatric cancer
care, supporting pediatric cancer patients
and their families, and building awareness for
children with cancer and chronic illnesses. The
Foundation has raised more than $3 million to
support programs at the Cancer Center for Kids
at NYU Langone LI Hospital, Stony Brook Pediatric
Oncology Program, Cohen’s Children’s Medical
Center, NYU Hassenfeld, and others focusing on
pediatric patients.

LaMon provides her vision to advance Adelphi University’s
diversity, equity, and inclusion resources
and programs. A key contributor to Adelphi for 14
years—professor of English, former director of
the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program,
prior department chair, and College of Arts
and Sciences associate dean—she co-chaired the
inaugural College of Arts and Sciences Diversity
and Inclusion Committee and served as president
of Cave Canem Foundation, Inc., an organization
cultivating the artistic and professional growth
of African American poets. LaMon earned her
bachelor’s degree at Mount Holyoke College, a JD
at the UCLA School of Law, and an MFA at Indiana
University Bloomington.
NICOLE MILONE

Nicole L. Milone is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group at Certilman
Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP. She handles a wide array of commercial
litigation matters before state, federal, and appellate courts. Before joining
the firm, Milone was a Litigation Associate at a boutique law firm in Manhattan,
where she handled commercial real estate litigation, ranging from
commercial mortgage foreclosures to broker fee disputes. She also served
as an intern for the Office of the Nassau County Attorney.
While in law school, she worked with the Housing Rights/Law Reform
Advocacy Clinic, where she participated in the federal anti-discrimination
lawsuit against the Village of Farmingdale that created affordable housing
units for displaced Latino residents. She was also a member of the Legal
Emergency Aid Project, a group that raised money to travel to New Orleans,
Louisiana, over their spring break to assist the victims of Hurricane
Katrina through volunteer legal work with the Pro Bono Project.
She is currently a mentor in the Lawyers Involved in Kids’ Education
program, where she donates an hour weekly to a student at Walnut
Street Elementary School in Uniondale. She also serves on the Young
Professionals Advisory Board of Mentor New York.
