MERRY MIXING & MATCHING
Cait, a graphic designer who was visiting Astoria,
defines her style as “comfortable and minimal.”
Her black-and-white look was definitely minimal
yet eye-catching at the same time. Love how her
blue nails added a pop of color!

STREET STYLE
inter can often spark a sea of black coats on the streets, but not
here in Astoria. Locals used chilly weather as an opportunity to
layer up with rich fabrics and playful details. Residents boldly
mixed and matched patterns and textures — and since they kept
their pieces in the same color schemes, it worked! We love that
western Queens isn’t afraid of color in the winter; it’s the best way
to brighten up a dark, dreary day. W
